The making of An Organic Superfood Store Built With GemPages
Brightcore sells organic superfood supplements in the US. We built their Shopify store with GemPages — landing pages, tiered pricing, call-in sales. See how.

Challenges
- The customer is older and sceptical, and buys a supplement only after reading the evidence — which means every product page has to carry clinical studies, named testimonials and a guarantee, and a page builder was the only way to give each of eleven products its own long-form layout without a developer on every change
- A large share of orders close over the phone, so the store had to support a call-in sales channel rather than compete with it — the number and the call-in offer sit on every page and beside every price, which is unusual for an e-commerce build
- Supplement claims are regulated, so the pages had to argue the benefit through cited research and customer stories while carrying the FDA disclaimer on every page, keeping the copy persuasive without crossing into medical claims
Solution
Brightcore Nutrition is a family-owned, Florida-based supplement brand founded by nutritionist Kim Bright, selling eleven organic superfood products — Kimchi One, Revive multi-collagen, Sweet Wheat, NMN-3, BrightBeets and the rest — made in the USA and sold direct. The customer is older, cautious and reads everything before buying, and a good share of them would rather pick up the phone than check out online. So the store was built as a set of long, evidence-heavy landing pages rather than a conventional catalogue. We built it on Shopify using GemPages as the page builder, which let the homepage, the collection pages, the about page and every product page be laid out section by section — benefit strips, clinical-study panels, founder story, testimonials from named customers — without touching theme code, and let the Brightcore team edit the pages themselves afterwards. Around the pages sit the mechanics the business runs on: Buy More Save More tiered pricing on every product, a toll-free number on every page with a call-in discount, Recharge subscriptions, Judge.me and Yotpo reviews numbering in the hundreds per product, Klaviyo email capture and Tidio live chat.

Design
The palette is a garden rather than a pharmacy: a deep olive green for the announcement bar, headings and body text, a warm yellow for the pill-shaped buttons, white for the product grid and a pale sage for the alternating sections — the Discover grid, the trust row, the product-finder band — and a darker forest green for the closing band and footer, so the page ends in the same colour it opened on. The type pairing does the persuading. GT Haptik, a rounded geometric sans, sets the headings and the product names with a friendly, modern voice; GT Sectra, a sharp contemporary serif, carries the body copy and the long evidence sections, which lends the clinical-study panels and testimonials the authority of print. Two more sans faces do the small jobs — Poppins on the header button and account labels, Cabin in the mobile menu drawer — so the two display faces are never asked to work at interface sizes. Product photography is kept on white so the coloured labels do the differentiating across the eleven products, and the buttons are fully rounded at a 43px radius — the one soft, inviting element on pages that otherwise ask the reader to concentrate.

Headings
GT Haptik
Medium and Bold weights on the hero line, section titles and product names. A rounded geometric sans from Grilli Type with a warm, approachable character that keeps a supplement brand from reading as clinical.
Body copy
GT Sectra
Regular weight across the running text, the benefit descriptions and the study summaries. A contemporary serif with calligraphic sharpness, so the long evidence sections read with the authority of an editorial rather than a product listing.
Utility text
Roboto
On the announcement bar, navigation and review widgets. A neutral system-style sans that stays out of the way of the two display faces.
Header buttons and labels
Poppins
SemiBold on the View Products button in the header and Bold on the small-caps MY ACCOUNT and CART labels beside the icons. A geometric sans with wide, even letterforms that stays legible at 12px, which is why the theme reserves it for the header utilities.
Mobile menu
Cabin
Regular weight across the slide-out mobile menu — Shop, Sign in and the product list beneath it. A humanist sans chosen for the drawer, where the list has to be scanned quickly with a thumb rather than read.
What we built
Product Pages as Landing Pages
Each product page is a GemPages-built long-form page: a benefits strip, tiered pricing, a named-customer testimonial, a trust row, a what-the-science-says section with cited studies and a closing guarantee — built for a reader who needs to be convinced, not just shown a bottle.
Buy More, Save More
Three tiers on every product — one bottle at $64.95, three or more at 15% off, six or more at 25% off — laid out as selectable cards with Best Seller and Best Value badges, so the discount is visible at the point of decision rather than hidden in a cart rule.
A Phone Number on Every Page
A toll-free number in the announcement bar, beside the price and after the add-to-cart, with a call-in offer of up to 50% off plus free shipping — the store keeps the sales team in the funnel for the customers who would rather talk to a person.
Shop by Health Goal
Eight collections — brain health, digestive, cardiovascular, immunity, inflammation, energy, thyroid and hormones, skin and hair — so a visitor who arrives with a concern rather than a product name still finds the right bottle.
Reviews in the Hundreds
Judge.me star ratings on every product tile — 855 reviews on Kimchi One, 319 on Revive, 257 on Sweet Wheat — with Yotpo carrying the fuller review content, because in supplements the volume of peer verdicts is the trust signal.
Real Success Stories
A homepage testimonial section with named customers, their product and a Shop link on each — Marilyn, Katie, Mike — plus a former law enforcement officer on the Kimchi One page, chosen to match the audience that is actually buying.
The Brightcore Boost Trust Row
Superior Quality, Trusted Research, Family-Owned and Made in the USA as a four-point strip, with a Wounded Warrior Project donation panel below it — the reassurance an older, cautious customer wants before ordering a supplement online.
Risk Reversal, Stated Three Ways
Free shipping over $199, same-day dispatch with two-to-three-day delivery, and a 90-day money-back guarantee, shown as a row on every product page so the objection is answered where it arises.
Subscriptions and Email Capture
Recharge for subscribe-and-save reorders on a product bought monthly, a Klaviyo 15% first-order pop-up for email capture, and Tidio chat for the questions the long pages still leave open.
Founder-Led About Page
An about page built around Kim Bright — on radio and television since the 1980s, more than 15,000 individual consultations — with the direct-to-you pricing argument spelled out, because a supplement brand is bought on who stands behind it.
