Challenges

The platform needed to bridges traditional web interactions with Web3 wallet verification while accepting standard enterprise fiat payments for annual memberships.
The site had to clearly present a complex governance model involving six distinct membership tiers, custom utility token pledges, and multi-path workgroup funding options.

Solution

National DigiFoundry (NDF) is a member-funded Decentralized Autonomous Organization, initially funded by the National Science Foundation, that serves as a public-private collaboration ecosystem and business incubator for Web3 and Industry 4.0 startups. NDF required an web platform capable of managing complex organizational governance, multi-tiered membership subscriptions, and token-based workgroup participation while showcasing steering committee leadership from organizations like the NSF, US Space Force, and US Department of the Treasury. We built the platform on WordPress using Elementor, integrating a multi-step member onboarding pipeline, Stripe payment processing for fiat annual dues, and custom wallet verification via the Stargazer wallet. The site displays $NDT tokenomics ($NDT 1 = USD $0.10) for utility transactions, outlines dedicated workgroups such as Decentralized Science and Space Working Group, and features a DLM document library alongside GravityForms-powered application flows.

Design

The interface uses a clean layout featuring Roboto for body text and Roboto Condensed for structured UI elements and headings. Primary accent tones include light purple (#9485BE), blue (#0070BA, #0085BA, #0073AA), vibrant green (#75C32C), and pink (#F78DA7). UI elements rely predominantly on crisp square corners mixed with 8px and 3px rounded borders on specific interactive components.

A structured membership matrix ranging from Student/Civil Servant ($45/yr) to Governance Continuous Caster ($50,000/yr) detailing entitlements, NFT allocations, and utility token grants.

A guided user flow spanning formal application, contract execution, web3 wallet verification, utility token transfer, and level-specific operational authorization.

Stargazer Wallet Integration

Built-in wallet authentication permitting members to authorize accounts and manage $NDT token transfers directly through the portal.

Transparent pricing for ecosystem services—including workgroup participation, infrastructure access, and certification exams—priced in fixed $NDT utility tokens.

Interactive Workgroup Hub
